Blog Stampede Support

A problem with the default WordPress editor has been reported to us.  The symptoms reported include the system removing parts of the installation HTML coding upon saving the page or post.

The problem comes from the strict security measures in the default WordPress installation that remove certain types of HTML coding when saving an entry.

In order for the form and listing pages to appear properly all the HTML tags given in the installation code are needed including the CSS and IFRAME tags.

There are two quick ways to fix this.

1.  Update the TinyMCE editor valid elements using this plugin.

http://wordpress.org/extend/pl…..-elements/

This will allow you to tell the system which items of valid HTML to not remove.  For Blog Stampede we are concerned with CSS and IFRAME tags.

OR

2. Upgrade the editor to a more user and code friendly system like the FCKeditor plugin available here
